Devon House

The Devon House is one of the most visited heritage sites from Jamaica. It was build approximately 127 years ago and it is located in the center of Kingston.  The story behind this site starts with the dream of the first black Jamaican millionaire, George Stiebel.

You can visit this house from Tuesday till Saturday during 10 am and 5 pm. Entrance fee is approximately USD 6. Here you will be able to see an impressive collection of antiques from Jamaica, Caribbean, England, or France and other important pieces of art.

Jamaican Nightlife

The nightlife in Jamaica is very intensive and diverse. You can stay on the beach and see the stars while listening to authentic reggae music or you can go in a club and party all night long on the Jamaican dancing rhythms. Just ask at your hotel/ guesthouse which are the best clubs in the town or if there are any shows during your stay. The people will be very eager to help you and give you some really helpful tips.

Appleton Estate

Appleton Estate is a company which produces rums since 1749. It has a strong background in the sugar estate and distillery in Jamaica. Its typical products are tropically aged pot still rums made in copper pot stills. The tours of Appleton Estate will give you an insight of the cane sugar and rums processing history. The modern factory is the next attraction, while the tour ends with a delicious Jamaican food. It is open for tourist visits from Monday till Saturday during 9 am and 4 pm. The tour price is approx USD 20 per person. If you want to taste the Jamaican cuisine you will have to pay an extra fee of USD 15.

Bike Tours in the Blue Mountains

If you love go biking and the mountain trips this means that the bike tour in the Jamaican Blue Mountains is the perfect tour for you. These tours are organized in Ochio Rios from Monday till Saturday starting 8 am and ending at 5 pm. The cost of one tour is somewhere around USD 98 for adults, while the children between 7 and 12 years old have to pay only USD 70.
